The Systems Security Administrator is to be responsible for desktop, mobile, and network security, troubleshooting network access and implementing network security policies and procedures at our organization. Ensures network (LAN/WAN, telecommunications, and voice) security access and protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction. Job Responsibilities include: Monitoring systems security and responding to security incidents. OS Hardening and Security for Windows and Linux systems Application vulnerability scanning Conduct security audits and assessments A strong understanding and knowledge of computer, network, and security systems Installing, administering, and troubleshooting network security solutions Updating software with the latest security patches and ensuring the proper defenses are present foreach network resource. Configuring security systems, analyzing security requirements, and recommending improvements. Resolving security ticket escalations Email security Barracuda spam filter and Exchange. Experience supporting Microsoft O365 suite of applications. Monitor events and triage alerts across various security platforms. Defining, planning, implementing, maintaining, and upgrading security measures, policies, and controls. Anti-virus management, support, and deployment.
