Software Engineer

Res-Care, Inc. DBA BrightSpring Health Services seeks a Software Engineer-IT Application Development in Tampa, Florida. This position is responsible for the analysis, design development, implementation, quality and maintenance of Windows/Web based applications and systems contributing to the overall IT strategy and plan. The duties include Develop and maintain high-quality software products supporting the organization's standards and infrastructure, using Microsoft .NET Framework, SQL and integrated system components; Support and comply w/doc- umented software process and procedure requirements spanning all phases of software product life cycle; Participate in meetings w/ other team members to design user-friendly interfaces; developing high-quality, object-oriented business objects; and conducting research and evaluation of software-related technologies and products; This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or foreign equivalent; 5 years of experience building and maintaining software applications; source control; version control; testing; production turnover; specification development and systems analysis; and 5 years of hands-on experience with IBM iSeries RPG & JAVA programming and stored procedures.
