Planning Commission Vacancy

Grand County Board of Commissioners is looking for an individual from the Granby/Grand Lake area (District 2) to serve on the Planning Commission. Please submit a letter of interest to the Planning Department at[email protected]or call (970) 725-3737 -- Planning Commissioners help develop and adopt master plans, are essential in providing expertise on growth policies and specific planning and land issues, and help protect our water and environment. A representative from each of the three Commissioner districts is sought for a three-year term. Meetings are one time / month, and pay $100 / meeting. Responsibilities The Planning Commission is responsible for reviewing staff recommendations regarding land use proposals within the unincorporated portions of Grand County and issuing a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners. Meetings All meetings are held at the Grand County Administration Building, Board of Commissioner's Hearing Room located on the 2nd floor, 308 Byers Avenue, Hot Sulphur Springs, CO.
