NAVAJO OFFICE OF VITAL RECORDS & IDENTIFICATION (NOVRI) Now accepting applications for the following position: NETWORK SPECIALIST NOVRI is a Navajo Nation (NN) tribal program that provides tribal enrollment and vital records services for its tribal members, and federal & tribal governmental purposes. The incumbent will provide technical support for approximately 25+ users at up to 7 locations across the Navajo Nation. A favorable background check is a must. The Network Specialist duties will be to primarily provide day-to-day monitoring and assess the network to ensure that it will perform at its highest efficiency. Work closely with Navajo Department of Technology to maintain the program's network security and with Department of Homeland Security to assist in implementing the Real ID Act within our program. Other duties include upgrading the existing network software, install & configure network equipment, configure & manage firewalls. Provide technical support that includes troubleshooting and resolution of a variety of technical problems. Escalate to appropriate resource within the department for resolution.
