Location: This role would require employees to be in our New York office twice per week (Monday/Wednesday) and is open to remote work on other days (Tuesday/Thursday and Friday). Job Summary: The Global Payroll and Benefits Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of Acquis Consulting Group's global payroll and administration of benefits to employees both domestic and foreign. Acquis Consulting Group currently processes payroll in the United States, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Canada and India through various PEO (professional employer organization) and EOR (employer of record) providers on semi-monthly, bi-weekly, and monthly cycles. Responsibilities include the calculation and recording of confidential employee pay data into secure payroll systems or in secure communication with the foreign EOR payroll providers. The desired candidate should be familiar with various payroll taxes, voluntary and involuntary employee deductions, as well as direct deposit information, and assist with the proper setup of new hires across various systems, portals, and spreadsheets.
