TITLE: DWI Prevention Compliance Division: County Administration Department: DWI Section: Eddy County Administration Supervisor: DWI Program Director FLSA: Classified, Non-Exempt Wage Level: Grade 52 Hiring Range: $18.57 - $20.49 per hour DOE Full Salary Range: $18.57 - $23.75 per hour DOE Origination: May 2016 Revision: June 2023 BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This employee will be responsible for maintaining the Eddy County DWI Offender database through the entry of post-conviction court ordered sanctions and the IDA Screening Instrument into the DFA approved statewide database for convicted DWI offenders. This information will be obtained from Eddy County Court records. Maintaining accurate and complete DWI Offender Tracking information is an essential function of this position and is a requirement of DFA Program guidelines. The employee will assist with planning, developing, and implementing Prevention/Education services and will include co-facilitating the DWISE Program and certification as a DWI School Facilitator within one year of hire. Excellent computer skills and graphic arts design experience are a requirement for this position. Assisting with the daily operation of the Eddy County DWI Program is also required and reporting at monthly DWI Advisory Council meetings and frequent interface with multiple agencies and individuals. Spanish speaking preferred. This position is grant funded and will remain in effect as long as grant funding is available. The successful candidate will perform all duties with minimal supervision, may be required to work irregular hours, attend job related meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.
