JOB TITLE: Director of International Renewable Energy and Carbon Advisory Summit Energy Services, Inc. seeks a Director of International Renewable Energy and Carbon Advisory in Boulder, CO. Job Description: Responsible for leading the growth of the cleantech business in markets outside of the USA and for growing and managing our business development teams in Europe and South America. Leads or supports sales of renewable energy advisory services to large organizations inside and outside the US, with a particular emphasis in bringing new prospects to the business via a strong network of sustainability and energy contacts, and supporting colleagues within and beyond the team in negotiations with senior stakeholders in client and prospect organizations. Responsible for analyzing energy markets around the world to understand what emerging policies and regulations are in place to enable large scale, long-term, high value and complex renewable energy transactions, typically known as PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements) between multinational corporations and international or market-specific renewable energy project developers. Included in evaluation of strategic partnership opportunities that may also involve potential for acquisition. Manage the company's European and South American sales efforts related to EACs (Environmental Attribute Certificates) and project performance services related to operational renewable energy projects with which Schneider's clients have signed 10-15- year PPAs and provide significant support to teams across Asia selling similar services. Develop the company's advisory offer, work with internal stakeholders to create appropriate materials (advisory contracts, sales materials, presentations and other materials as appropriate) and support sales staff around the world (particularly in USA, Europe, South America, SE Asia, India and Australia) to sell Schneider's services. Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders around the world, typically at Director level or above, outside of the cleantech and renewables team in order to leverage their knowledge of markets and to encourage the cross-selling of cleantech services by other teams.
