Corporate Travel Coordinator

NY Creates is a leading research and development hub as well as a commercialization facilitator in advanced digital, analog, and power technologies. Job Description: The duties will include, but not be limited to: Coordination of various levels of travel approval Distribution of travel related materials, Review and processing of travel reimbursements for travelers at NY Creates Incumbent will review all travel related transactions upon receipt for allowability and appropriateness, in accordance with established internal procedures. Other reasonable duties as assigned. Requirements: Minimum Requirements for Travel Coordinator Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. OR Equivalent relevant professional experience AND a minimum of 2 years professionally responsible experience. Candidates must have a working knowledge of the MS Office suite and excellent communication skills both verbally and in written form. This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background investigation; this position may be subject to annual background investigations. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with travel reimbursement processes and procedures in a sponsored programs office. Experience in higher education and grants management is preferred.
