CHARTERING ENGINEER: Plan alterations and modifications to existing tanker transportation structures to improve function; investigate port traffic problems and recommend methods to improve tanker fleet traffic flow and safety; estimate transportation project costs for Medium Range Product Tanker vessels; evaluate tanker fleet transportation systems to determine the need for modifications or expansion; inspect tanker fleet vessels to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations; model tanker fleet transportation scenarios to evaluate the impacts of activities such as new development or to identify possible solutions to tanker fleet transportation problems; confer with naval and civil engineers to prepare designs or operational tanker plans; schedule tanker transportation operational activities; prepare technical tanker fleet transportation logistical reports; and evaluate technical tanker fleet data using IMOS and MARORKA software to determine effect on transportation plans and analyze and monitor tanker fleet vessel transportation performance.
