Atkins North America, Inc. seeks Sr. Contracts Manager in Tampa, FL: Effectively administrate contracts.Draft contractual documents. Identify actions that result in constructive contract changes. Develop strategies to avoid potential claims. Protect contractual interests and provide recommendations for corrective action. Ensure contractors' compliance. Identify/ validate Design Build claims, coordinate efforts to negotiate. Help project management team to resolve claims. Establish and update records of all correspondence related to contract activity. Coordinate work with project controls, scheduling, resident engineer, change management team. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics Management, or foreign equivalent and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. In lieu of a bachelor's degree and 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related occupation, the employer will accept any suitable combination of education and experience in job offered or related occupation. Previous experience with mega projects (over $1 billion) required. Strong experience in design-build construction contracts. Understanding of alternative dispute resolution techniques. Experience in contract law, contract drafting, administration. Experience in handling prime contract and subcontracts and of responding to and utilising their claims. Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMA) required. May work at unanticipated work sites throughout the United States.
