Position Overview The Assistant Vice President for Principal Gifts and Executive Director of Advancement, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, is responsible for leading a comprehensive fundraising program in support of school and campaign priorities. The Assistant Vice President is responsible for working closely with the Senior Associate Vice President/Associate Vice President for Advancement (if filled) or the Vice President for University Advancement, and the Dean of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences as well as key faculty and physician scientists and advancement professionals in identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding prospects and donors capable of making gifts and commitments in the six- and seven-figure range from a portfolio of current and prospective donors for the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
